The New Mistakes are an Oregon, USA based band born from the merging of long time collaborators Sick Monkey and MobStyle to form a multi-genre and experienced dynamic musical group. Because of our past performances to both rock and hip-hop audiences through other projects, we can easily fill and keep audiences with wide musical tastes. We combine elements of Rock, Hip-Hop, Rock-a-Billy, Dance, Showtunes and Metal to create a unique and exciting experience for just about any audience.
The New Mistakes uses Rickenbacker and Breedlove guitars; Fender, Blackheart and Trace Eliot amps; Rhodes keyboards and Mapex drums. The New Mistakes typical stage set up is 4 Vocal mics, Bass DI, Keyboard DI, Guitar mic, and Drum mics.
The New Mistakes has a sliding fee scale and sound that can accommodate nearly any venue, and is comfortable playing shows solo or with other bands, and can fill a time slot between 1 and 3 hours.
